Lúna was active from 1998 - 2004 in Iceland.
Lúna had the concept of surrealism and Magic Realism in the bands’ soundscape.
The idea of how sound can visualise images in the senses of the mind of the listeners.
Visual sound layers and chords that build up in harmony and beats,
contrasts of lights and shadows in lyrics and structure of the songs.

20 years ago, Bad Taste Records published the only LP released by the Icelandic band Lúna called “Leyfðu mér að þegja þögn þinni.” To celebrate this milestone, former members of Lúna are now publishing a digital version of an unpublished EP recorded in 2002 along with recordings from that same year of 4 unpublished songs from a live session at a local radio station called Rás 2.
